
Description
This 2-hour online course is approved by the Colorado Secretary of State (vendor approval #2011-0012) and meets the educational requirement to become a Notary Public in the State of Colorado. Upon successful completion of the course, the learner will receive a Certificate of Completion to submit with the Notary Public application.
Objectives
The specific aim of this course is to familiarize you with the functions and duties of a Notary Public in the State of Colorado.
By the end of this course, you will be able to do the following:
-Define the functions of a Notary Public
-Cite the duties of a Notary Public
-Distinguish the features of the different documents that a Notary Public completes
-Describe the procedures to establish identification
-Recognize the different tools a Notary Public uses to complete his or her duties
-Explain the e-Notarization process
-List notary restrictions
-Access notary public resources on the Colorado Secretary of State web site.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will have fulfilled the Colorado two-hour state Notary Public education requirement.
